A mulit-hyphenate dreamer growing up in the digital age 

Hi there, I am Martine Louis, the founder of Maison Nefelibata. I was born and raised in New York and have always found joy in gathering friends and family in intentional, but impactful ways. After a couple years as a corporate consultant, I learned firsthand what burnout can steal from us—and what slowing down can restore.

 

The House of Clouderwalkers is what Maison Nefelibata translates to, and it has evolved from different iterations, some which were present in this reality and some that lived in my daydreams. I crave to stay grounded in daily interactions that aren't online and I feel that there is a community of people who desire the same.

 

Technology has brought us a long way,  It be remiss of me to not address fact that you are on a digital device reading this right now. Yet, today people feel lonelier than ever (especially Gen Z) because technology was never meant to replace human connection. The power of human connection goes far beyond a text or phone call, but is rooted in soft smiles, belly laughs, and tears from shedding one's old self.

I hope that Maison Nefelibata can be a safe space to grow community offline, while also sharing and expanding knowledge on the lasting benefits of human connection amid a technology revolution.
